About Us

Robin and Eric are long-time friends from Santa Barbara, Ca. Within their community, some had illustrious mariner histories and a few had boats - both of which were shared generously and stoked a passion for the ocean and love for the thrill of sailing. Spending many nights and days at the Channel Islands, Eric and Robin dreamt of sailing adventures that would take them beyond the waters of California to beautiful shores across the world.

Madison had a taste of sailing in Seattle, where she fell in love with it, jumping at any opportunity to spend the day cruising. When her friends sold their boat, she was heartbroken feeling it was her only channel into sailing... until she met Eric. Eric took Madison sailing on their second date and continued to enmesh her in the group sailing trips they took. Over time, they even started talking about maybe doing a big sailing trip.

Gradually and suddenly we woke up and realized that dreaming is amazing... but doing it is better. And so we started researching, planning, and shopping for our vessel. Community and chosen family are priceless and it was an easy decision for Robin, Eric, and Madison to jump into this adventure together. We are constantly learning the right way, learning the wrong way, learning the hard way, and learning on the fly - but it is a delight with good company and we look forward to doing it all together and sharing parts of it with you!
